A Le Petit Chateau Wedding: Danielle and Matthew

Le Petit Chateau. The latest wedding venue at Northumberland's very own version of Gretna Green.....Otterburn. This is the North East's wedding capital with stacks of wedding venues packed into a tiny pocket of rural Northumberland. Shooting a Le Petit Chateau wedding has been on my bucket list for a while now as the old Percy Arms (which we now know as Le Petit Chateau) was where I began my wedding photography career years earlier. My parents lived opposite and the staff there were amazing when my dad took seriously ill making sure my mum was looked after.

Danielle and Matthew actually booked me not long after LPC opened but I have had to wait a long time to shoot this. Not only was I shooting a wedding at a stunning venue but I was working with friends from Mooshki Bridal, Lisa Jones Hair and Make Up, One Digital Image and The Master Cakesmith. I was in familiar company. Oh and the wedding took place in the church where my mum used to be vicar in Elsdon. So I was in familiar territory.

I loved shooting this wedding. It was emotional. It was funny. It was poignant. It pretty much had it all. These two were so much fun to shoot!
